Today's new scarf was inspired by a painter. Monet's Water Lilies painting has such nice colors in it that when I started a new scarf I felt myself being drawn to this color combination. 
First Squishy Item of the new year! Pink Daisy Hat features self striping pink and white cotton yarn with scalloped edging and a cute pink and white accent flower. 
It's snowing! Good ol' Wisconsin finally kicked into gear after a very mild summer. This week we are supposed to get over a foot of snow. I have pictures from last year's winter. I remember going out and getting the best coat for WI ever lol. It's so long/big it's almost like a sleeping bag you can walk around in :P Of course I have big winter boots but you can't see them in the snow. 
My dog loves it! We went out this morning for his walk and he started rolling around. I'm sure he'll be super happy tonight when we go out and there is a lot more snow to play in. 
17 days til Christmas! Can you believe it? Today's new item is A Merry Little Christmas Scarf. You won't believe how wonderfully warm and soft this scarf is. I combined the softest materials to create this. This cheerful scarf is red and white with a hint of gold. It'll make a great holiday gift for anyone or for yourself :)
Happy Monday! Today I've posted a jolly scarf, it's very cheery and festive. It has a nice green homespun with gold in it with fuzzy red fur all around it, I thought it was a nice Christmasy mix. 
Finally got my first winter hat for the season up! This hat is pretty stretchy, my own head is 22in around and my friend is 24in around and it fit both nicely. The brim around it is good for keeping ears nice and warm :) It's also stripy, which I didn't notice until about half way through making it. The whole thing is black but it's mixed with brown and white to give it a pretty cool look. 
Happy Tuesday! I got Misty Moonlight Scarf up today. It's very silky and warm and I was SO excited when I got this in the shipment of yarn I had ordered. The eyelash was surprisingly silky. The base is a gray homespun while the eyelash switches between silver and black. Click on the picture to see more on Etsy. 
Another day, another scarf! I made Tutti Frutti for adults and children (though I was the only one able to model it) it's 60" in length which would be large (or extra-large depending on age) for a kid but they can be wrapped up and kept warm. Another store owner I know through facebook has a 5 year old who she made a 60" scarf for and she can get bundled in it quite well. Best thing is, even as they grow up, this scarf won't get too small. :)
Fall Harvest Scarf is now up on Etsy. I debated for awhile even putting this one up. It looked so good with my clothes I wanted to keep it :P
Yesterday was a success. Sugared Apple Scarf sold after barely being up for a day!

| With our economy the way it is I'm sure everyone here needs a flurry of sales?? My husband is in the hopital's ICU battling cancer, Multiplymeloma and Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, and a biopsy of the brain recently revealed plasmsarcoma. Due to his compromised immune style he's also asquired the swine flu and has be on a ventilator. This past week my breaks went out on my car as though we needed anohter expense. In order to fix my car so I can resume my visits with my husband, I am having a HUGE sale in my shop this weekend. Buy 2 and get 1 item of equal or lesser value FREE. If you can't purcase something personally, please help me promote this sale on your blog??? I really need to be him my husband as much as possible and I'm asking for your help. Blessings, KIM |

Another week, another scarf! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I'm going to be super busy today so I made sure I got this beauty of a scarf up before I had to start running around. 
It's a Thursday and I'm posting a new item! :O Thought I'd try a little experiment and see if it would get the same amount of views as the scarves I post on Monday and Tuesdays. 
So today I listed the Deep Sea Scarf, gotta say I LOVED making this one. Every once and awhile I see two colors and instantly want to combine them. I believe the description in my shops explains it perfectly. :) I love the water and anything that reminds me of it will make my day. 
It's monday! That means a new scarf is up. Could not for the life of me think of a name for this scarf, so thanks go to my mom for helping me out on this one :) 
New Breast Cancer Awareness scarf is now available at my shops. This scarf is wider and shorter than the usual styles I make but it's soooo fluffy and warm. I used a new type of homespun that is bulkier than what I usually use to make scarves but I thought the end result was really nice. You can find this scarf at any of my mini stores on my blog. 
Happy Monday! I choose a pretty scarf to put out this morning. As I wrote in my description of this scarf, to me it looked like the colors had been taken out of the sky and spun into a gorgeous fluffy scarf.
This month Squishy Products will be making Pink scarves for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Half the cost of each scarf sold will be donated towards Breast Cancer Research. 
So I decided to make this scarf with a knit/purl combo to create a block look for each color to stand out more. When playing around with the yarn I realized it made me think of Popsicle flavors. Then I thought-Hey! I have creamy homespun somewhere and that's how I got the idea to make this scarf. I'm always saying "I feel like a Popsicle" when outside in freezing Wisconsin weather, figured I should make a Popsicle colored scarf to keep people looking bright when everything around is just white :)
October is going to be a busy one! I'm starting it off with my new Mesh It Up Scarf ! Scarves are in as a fashion statement this year (as well as neon apparently...won't this be a bright winter). So I made this one as a more trendy style to go with a pretty sweater or coat, the suede-like feel of the yarn will keep you warm as well. Enjoy!
