No new item from me today, instead I wanted to help a woman who is going through a very tough time. Here is a copy of her story.

With our economy the way it is I'm sure everyone here needs a flurry of sales?? My husband is in the hopital's ICU battling cancer, Multiplymeloma and Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, and a biopsy of the brain recently revealed plasmsarcoma. Due to his compromised immune style he's also asquired the swine flu and has be on a ventilator. This past week my breaks went out on my car as though we needed anohter expense. In order to fix my car so I can resume my visits with my husband, I am having a HUGE sale in my shop this weekend. Buy 2 and get 1 item of equal or lesser value FREE. If you can't purcase something personally, please help me promote this sale on your blog??? I really need to be him my husband as much as possible and I'm asking for your help.
Blessings,
KIM

Poisoned Apple Scarf

Finally going to let this one out. The Poisoned Apple Scarf! It's so dark and rich. First of the apple scarves that I'll be releasing.
I have so many scarves out now. I just love making them though, so much thought and inspiration goes into each color combination for me.
Hope everyone gets the Snow White reference used in my description. Thought that would be a fun little twist :D
Have a great Wednesday everyone. I'm determined to finish my first scarf for men today!

Raspberry Ice Scarf

Yay! I got Raspberry Ice Scarf up today! It's so pretty (and warm, don't forget warm :P) You can find it at any of my stores. There is only one in stock so hurry and snatch it up before someone else does!
Of course, you can always request one in a different size for yourself if you'd like :) I defiantly wouldn't mind making more.
Have a great Tuesday everyone!

English Rose Scarf - Breast Cancer Awareness

Another week, another scarf! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I'm going to be super busy today so I made sure I got this beauty of a scarf up before I had to start running around.
This one is called English Rose. When I was making it the colors together just looked so...flowery. So I looked online and found that English Roses were very close in color to what I was making. Darker pink that fades to a light. Seemed like the perfect name to me! :)
This scarf is another one for Breast Cancer Awareness month, only this week left!

Cotton Candy Scarf - Breast Cancer Awareness

It's a Thursday and I'm posting a new item! :O Thought I'd try a little experiment and see if it would get the same amount of views as the scarves I post on Monday and Tuesdays.
Cotton Candy is ready for viewing at each of my stores (well, except Shop Handmade, that website is soooo slow and I haven't caught up yet.)
I think this scarf would defiantly be for any pink lover out there. Pinky Pink homespun and white fur fuzzies, what's not to love?! Don't forgot though, only about a week left for this scarf to be up for Breast Cancer Awareness month, don't miss out on helping a great cause!

Deep Sea Scarf

So today I listed the Deep Sea Scarf, gotta say I LOVED making this one. Every once and awhile I see two colors and instantly want to combine them. I believe the description in my shops explains it perfectly. :) I love the water and anything that reminds me of it will make my day.
When I woke up this morning I had actually planned on listing something completely different, as it turns out I hadn't finished taking the pictures for it. Whoops :P So I hope everyone likes this scarf.
Have a great day!

Wispy Soft Pink Scarf

It's monday! That means a new scarf is up. Could not for the life of me think of a name for this scarf, so thanks go to my mom for helping me out on this one :)
This scarf is really skinny but extra long so you can bundle into it how ever you like.
Enjoy your week everyone!

Puff o' Pink Scarf - Breast Cancer Awareness

New Breast Cancer Awareness scarf is now available at my shops. This scarf is wider and shorter than the usual styles I make but it's soooo fluffy and warm. I used a new type of homespun that is bulkier than what I usually use to make scarves but I thought the end result was really nice. You can find this scarf at any of my mini stores on my blog.

Remember, Squishy Products is happy to donate to the Breast Cancer Foundation of your choice.

More Squishy News!

Well what do you know! I have more Squishy News already! I sold my first item. Spooky Scarf! Hurray for October Sales this month huh. Well everyone loves a bargain :D
Sold it on Etsy...hope I get good feedback -crosses fingers-
Well that's all, for now. :)

Some Squishy News

In my news of the week so far I've recently opened shop at a couple other craft websites. Squishy Products is now on Artfire and Shop Handmade. I have links and mini shops on the side of this blog now so if you like any of the items you see on here you can just go to whichever store you'd like. If you also have your own store and have been looking to expand onto other sites so far Artfire is the easiest to work with. If you have an Etsy shop you can just import all your items so you don't have to spend hours updating it manually.

Shop Handmade on the other hand has been giving me some problems, very slow loading so I haven't been able to even get half my items up yet.

Also, the Made It Myself website is very easy. After working with it for a couple weeks now I know where everything is and have gotten used to the layout. I get a lot of views on my items too. No sales yet though (course I haven't gotten sales on any of them yet so I base it on views for now).

Well that's it for now, if anything new happens I'll be sure to update!

Clouds and Sky Scarf

Happy Monday! I choose a pretty scarf to put out this morning. As I wrote in my description of this scarf, to me it looked like the colors had been taken out of the sky and spun into a gorgeous fluffy scarf.
Check the side of my blog for links to my stores.

Enjoy!

Spooky Scarf

One of my favorite color combinations. I loooove orange. I almost didn't want to sell it so I could wear it myself. Instead I thought I'd be nice and sell it for only $10 this month as my little treat for my customers. :)
You can find Spooky Scarf on my Etsy or my MIM.

Trick or Treat!

Fun Flavors Creamsicle Scarf

So I decided to make this scarf with a knit/purl combo to create a block look for each color to stand out more. When playing around with the yarn I realized it made me think of Popsicle flavors. Then I thought-Hey! I have creamy homespun somewhere and that's how I got the idea to make this scarf. I'm always saying "I feel like a Popsicle" when outside in freezing Wisconsin weather, figured I should make a Popsicle colored scarf to keep people looking bright when everything around is just white :)
Hope you enjoy this scarf and if you'd like, you can check out more details at my Etsy or my MIM.

Mesh It Up Scarf

October is going to be a busy one! I'm starting it off with my new Mesh It Up Scarf ! Scarves are in as a fashion statement this year (as well as neon apparently...won't this be a bright winter). So I made this one as a more trendy style to go with a pretty sweater or coat, the suede-like feel of the yarn will keep you warm as well. Enjoy!
